Thalita Campelo
REGIONAL HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Thalita has a bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in community health and health promotion. She is fluent in English and Portuguese and is a certified medical interpreter. She also speaks Spanish. She specializes in creating health educational materials and social media toolkits that are innovative, colorful and eye-catching. Prior to working at MWSPHS, she was a family resource specialist at a family resource center and worked as a medical interpreter in a mobile crisis unit. Thalita is responsible for bringing all health related information to the public in a way that is clear, effective and accessible to all. Her mission is to ensure that our community members are getting health information and resources in a way that they can utilize and better understand to live happy and healthier lives.
