Shared Public Health Positions

    • Facilitate creation and operations of governance structure 

    • Support implementation and tracking of grant-related activities 

    • Facilitate annual and new shared service positions and initiatives 

    • Program planning, and new revenue development 

    • Provides assistance with environmental health and statutory mandated annual and seasonal inspections.

    • Assists the community in accessing services and resources related to food, healthcare and more. 

    • Provide social support that is culturally and linguistically appropriate

    • Fill-gaps in public health nursing services, including childhood immunization for school enrollment, disease case management, coordinating health education and wellness programs and other services.

    • Primary responsibilities include disease surveillance, public health data collection and analysis, regional community health needs assessment and improvement planning (CHA and CHIP) and population health program planning.

    • Ensures that all health related information is delivered to the public in a way that is clear, effective and accessible to all.

    • Responsibilities include media management, event promotion, translations, creating and disseminating health campaigns and more!
