Edilane Silva
REGIONAL COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER
Edilane (Lane) Silva has been working as a Community Health Worker (CHW) in Massachusetts for 9 years. She completed the Comprehensive Outreach Education Certificate Program and Human Service program from a university in Brazil. She was one of the first licensed CHW from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. She is a Certified Application Counselor (CAC) for Masshealth and has completed several training sessions to enhance her skills and knowledge in the field including Health Care Access Programs for immigrants, Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certification, Cross-Cultural Communication, Motivational Interviewing, and Mental Health First Aid and many more. Lane is part of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (DPH) and the Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH) Access to & Linkage to Clinical Care FPHS Advisory Team.
